I can’t believe it’s only been a year, but then again, those characters have been bugging me for a lot longer than that, demanding to be unleashed into the world.
I admit, 2017 was both an interesting and odd year for me. A lot of good things happened—I published two short stories, two novelettes and two pieces of flash fiction. I got great feedback and gained a small but enthusiastic crowd of readers. I learnt new things. I did a lot of travelling. I met lovely people. But alas, I also faced some personal struggles that slowed me down a tad along the way.
Regardless, I can’t complain. In 2018, I’m determined to get more writing done and publish even more stories—about existing and new characters—from the Order Universe.
But today? We celebrate.
